All residents with a permanent Tahsis mailing address are eligible to apply for a plot at the Tahsis Community Garden. Message us on facebook or speak with any of the Directors to apply. The garden is located in the mobile home park, 8G Rugged Mountain Road, PO Box 218, Tahsis BC V0P 1X0

Mason bee update

The mason bees have entered their next stage. They have laid their eggs in the hive and plugged the openings with a cement-looking substance. Now the hive has to be taken in so the birds don't get it. It sits on the top of the fridge until September when I scrape out the tubes and remove the individual pods. Clean them up and store them for the winter.
