All residents with a permanent Tahsis mailing address are eligible to apply for a plot at the Tahsis Community Garden. Message us on facebook or speak with any of the Directors to apply. The garden is located in the mobile home park, 8G Rugged Mountain Road, PO Box 218, Tahsis BC V0P 1X0

Survey Completed

On Tues. January 25th the Tahsis Committee of survey takers met with the Vancouver Islannd Health Association representatives to finalize the questions on the survey. VIHA has taken it away for publication. One step closer.

Native Foods Book

Michelle has purchased three copies of a book titled "Food Plants of Coastal First Peoples". It is published by the Royal BC Museum and does a great job of explaining uses for wild plants in BC.
