All residents with a permanent Tahsis mailing address are eligible to apply for a plot at the Tahsis Community Garden. Message us on facebook or speak with any of the Directors to apply. The garden is located in the mobile home park, 8G Rugged Mountain Road, PO Box 218, Tahsis BC V0P 1X0

Soil Source

Yesterday at swimming I talked to Alisa, the lifeguard who also works for the village. She said there is a pile of soil at the landfill that was so big it had to be brought in in an 18 wheeler. She thinks it is good stuff; it even has a name - skyrocket. This is just what we need to fill those beds.

    The soil at the landfill was brought in by the Mayor and is for use for the community garden.
